The Heavy Culture Cooperative
Western Mass' Home for Alternative Arts
WHO WE ARE
The Heavy Culture Cooperative (THCC) is a cooperative owned and operated by workers, artists, and fans. THCC was founded in 2022 with the goal of establishing a music and performing arts venue that embraces various subcultures within the underground arts community.
We are actively creating a space for our future members. Read below to learn how you can become a member, invest in the co-op, or donate to support our cause.
DONATE
Donating is a no-strings attached way to support our cause quickly, but does not include member-owner benefits. Donating is right for you if neither expect to come to the venue often nor want to be involved in its governance, or if you want to provide additional support beyond your member-ownership or investment.
Donation is only possible through PayPal

BECOME A MEMBER OWNER
Member-ownership (aka becoming a shareholder) entitles you to: an ownership share in the co-op, a vote on how to govern it, potential profit sharing, potential employment opportunities, and additional members-only benefits.
Member-ownership is right if you want to help grow THCC and share in our profits--especially if you expect to attend, perform, exhibit, or otherwise utilize the venue regularly.
The one-time cost to be a member is $150, which can be paid as a lump sum or in payments.
If the one-time fee is a barrier to you joining, we still want you involved--click the link below to learn about other options.

Can’t afford a membership share?
We still want you here. THCC is establishing a fund to cover the costs of community members who have experienced an economic hardship. We will also consider donations of gear or volunteer labor in lieu of a cash purchase on a case-by-case basis. Apply to our Hardship Fund below.
